The Managers/Coaches take the field with their mascots and are greeted by the massed ranks of fans......................................

 

 

as the Dosthill Youth Team enter everyone awaits an exciting match......................................The Managers Bench...............

 

 

The first half gets underway with both teams cautious about conceding an early goal.

 

Youth and exuberance versus age, guile and sore legs!!!!

 

Chances at both ends keep the crowd on the edge of their seats as the half ends 0 - 0 ...........

 

 

The second half is a more controlled half as the Managers/Coaches seek to survive as the Youth team tries to use is match fitness to win the game.

 

The game is decided on a late controversial penalty, awarded to the managers, as 'Twinkle Toes Daly' is brought down in the box. The Youth team cannot believe it.

Striker 'Bad Boy Barratt' steps up and coolly slots home from 12 yards to seal victory for the first time ever for the Managers/Coaches team.

 

The teams shake hands at the end of one of best matches played in this series............congratulations to all for their efforts and for their enthusiasm.

 

 

The goal scorer, arm aloft, but being supported by his team mate (because he's shattered!!)

 acknowledges the crowd!!!!!!
